Here’s how to remove tape In hair extensions at home:

Our 3-Step Remover System:

Our best-selling signature system is designed to leave no residue behind with our innovative 1-2-3 remover trio.

Remover 1: Tape Remover –  neutralizes tape-in hair extension adhesive

Remover 2: Residue Remover – gets rid of any leftover adhesive residue

Remover 3: Conditioning Remover – removes stubborn residue that won’t budge

How To:

  1. Start with Remover 1 and spray it on the adhesive of your tape-in hair extensions.
  2. Let the remover solution drip down into the extension glue to soak for at least 30 seconds.
  3. Use a rattail comb to separate the tape tabs between the wefts to loosen them.
  1. Apply more Remover 1 as needed if the wefts don’t easily come apart, and repeat as needed.
  2. When the wefts are fully loose, gently remove hair extensions from the natural hair.
  3. Next, use Remover 2 to remove any leftover residue on the natural hair and extensions.
  4. Using a wide-tooth comb, carefully comb the hair in a downward direction to remove residue.
  5. Repeat the last two steps to remove residue wherever it’s left behind in the hair.
  6. If you still have residue that won’t come out, use Remover 3 and let it sit in the hair.
  7. Comb the hair from the roots to the ends and rinse.
  8. Repeat the last step as needed to ensure all residue is out of the hair.
  9. Wash the hair with a clarifying shampoo to remove any leftover remover or residue.
  10. Use cold water to rinse the hair after washing and conditioning. Dry the hair and prepare for reapplication.
